Why Can't I See My Records?

Empty lists and missing options are usually a visibility question, work this checklist.

Intended for: All usersTroubleshootingLast updated 2026-09-18

Required permissions: None.

NDT Pilot scopes records by organization (tenant), and customer accounts by customer record. Empty means out-of-scope, filtered, or not yet created.

Before you begin

  • Know your account type: staff (admin/user) or customer contact

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

    Check the account

Confirm you are signed in with the intended account, multiple accounts at one company are common.

  2. 2

    Clear filters and search

Status filters and search text hide rows silently, reset them before concluding data is missing.

  3. 3

    Check the scope

Staff see their organization's records; customer accounts see only their own company's. Another tenant's records are never visible, by design.

  4. 4

    Check the record exists

For customers: a report appears only after approval and release; drafts and in-review reports are invisible to you.

  5. 5

    Ask

If the record should be visible but is not, note the record number and contact your administrator or provider.

Expected result

You know whether it is a filter, a scope, or a support question.

What happens next

If it is a support question, use the contact form with the record number.

Important

  • Never request that tenant or customer scoping be relaxed to 'fix' a visibility problem, scoping is the protection, not the bug.
