Document Permissions and Libraries
Store SOPs, templates, and compliance documents with versions in a governed library.
Required permissions: Documents are visible within your organization's tenant.
The document library and technique-sheet library keep controlled reference documents with categories, versions, and upload records.
Before you begin
- Your documents and their version numbers
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Upload to the document library
Give each document a title, category (SOP, inspection template, compliance, manual, or other), and version, then attach the file.
- 2
Track versions
Version and description fields record which revision is current. Technique sheets add draft, approved, and superseded lifecycle states with preparer and approver.
- 3
Upload record
Each upload records who stored the file, and technique-sheet approvals are audited.
Expected result
A governed library where the current revision is unambiguous.
What happens next
Supersede outdated versions rather than deleting them, history matters.
