Intended for: Coordinators, AdministratorsCommercial GuidesLast updated 2026-09-18

Required permissions: Create within your organization's tenant.

The quotation is the commercial ancestor of the job: acceptance and PO are recorded before work begins.

Before you begin

  • Customer exists
  • Scope, method, amount, and validity period

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

    Create the quotation

Quote number and customer are required; add site, method, amount, currency, validity date, and the scope of work.

  2. 2

    Send and track

Status runs draft → sent → accepted, rejected, or expired.

  3. 3

    Record the PO

When the customer authorizes, record their purchase order number on the quotation.

  4. 4

    Convert to work

Converting an accepted quotation creates a work request carrying the customer, scope, method, and PO, and marks the quotation converted.

Expected result

Authorized scope becomes connected work, traceable to its quote.
